All aboard!

So the aforementioned op shop in the country had the most divine collection of cute blouses, including this adorable sailor-esque '80s Country Road number. Being light, cotton and airy it's perfect for running around doing errands in, which is exactly what I was doing last week!

We've been busy this week packing up the house, which is such a daunting experience. I hate moving house, and I've done so 5 times in the last 5 years. Dressing up in cute shirts gives me a little bit of escapism that is more than welcome when faced with such a monstrous task!

I wore the following blouse the day after Valentine's day... I kind of wanted to wear it ON Valentine's day, but thought it would be a bit too cheesy, hehe. What do you think?

Blouses: both from Camperdown op shop
Skirt: Witchery via op shop
Sandals: ebay
Bag: Newport op shop
Necklace: Drink me, Alice

I love thrifted old school Country Road. I think I get it from pilfering my mother's closet so thoroughly.

I love the sailor blouse and skirt. I need to get some light breezy outfits too with this endless heat.

Sailor girl! So sweet. I hate moving. That's why I haven't moved in about three years. I hope your new house is a delight.

PS: The boy was the one up at 5:30 am. I was in bed dead to the world ;)

I love both blouses! The little hearts on the last one is adorable.

I hate moving. I'm terrible at packing. Where are you going?

Cute! I love them both - would love to go op shopping with you! Also, that floral dress is yours if you want it - maybe we should do a swap?

I really love the sailor blouse in combination with the skirt. The photos are also great, I feel like a random watcher of yours.

You have a really cute blog :) I love the idea behind it, conscious spending is a good thing, we need to make it the norm and not the exception!

Love your blouses, the sailoresque one is super sweet, and as for wearing the heart one on V day, whats wrong with a bit of cheese if it's fun, right?!

That is too funny you spotted me. It happens a bit 'cos I live in the CBD :) <3 xxx

I hate packing so I feel for you. Some work is being done in our apartment right now so everything in the living area has to be packed away. And unpacking! Arrghh.

I would wear the love-hearts blouse on Valentine's Day but that's just cos we don't go out to celebrate. Tee hee hee. x

I'm glad you found me (and sorry it's taken so long to reply)...I think I remember that sailor blouse the first time around - now I feel old.

Again and always, what an adorable outfit!!

Haha you're right, I will surely find something to put there, I have way too much stuff, in time it will be full and I'll wish I had another shelf haha.
And like you, I don't think I'd ever stop being scared to drive, which is kind of dangerous actually, Dad always says I have to be more confident or I'll be a danger, I'm getting there, but oh it's scary.

Thank you for all of your lovely comments! I'll have to just answer specific questions due to time constraints,

muchlove: I'm moving overseas in about 1 month but in the meantime have moved to a small country town with my partner's parents (to prepare!)

Leonard: I don't use bloglovin' yet.. I tried and found it so confusing but I'm sure that's just me being bad at new technology! I will try and keep up with the times though :)
