Make hay while the sun shines

We had some sunny days in England. We had some wild electrical storms in Norway. And we had some humidity in Amsterdam.

People here in the UK talk about the weather more than any other population group I know of.

I've done a bit of charity store shopping (only a few vintage treasures, but lots of H&M - op shops here are full of really new looking secondhand H&M!). I've decided that I'll only buy chain store stuff secondhand, hopefully I'll save enough pennies to actually afford some real vintage here...

Love the pic. I too have been trying to buy things secondhand to save some cash.

lol. I love it when you randomly find a good contemporary piece when you are thrifting.

Tehehehe. I'd be prepared to bet New Zealanders talk about the weather just as much. Gorgeous photo. Where are you? In a wild field somewhere?

Beautiful photo! And what a good goal, I think, stores sell such expensive things when they are so cheaply made :(

Its true, i agree charity shops r in england (and ireland for that matter) contain soooo much h&m and primark! I think its the people who pick the clothes to put out, they think people only want to buy new stuff! The trick I lways use is, "Hi I am looking for costumes for a play and I was wondering if I can look in your back room?..." some nice little old ladies always lets me back ther wher I rootle through all the good stuff! give it a go!

or just keep doing what ur doing!

Aya: yes, that is true, wonder how they can justify the mark up sometimes!
